Getting Ready to Go Back to School
The San Diego Woman's Club has El Nido Kids Covered!
The San Diego Woman's Club (SDWC) has come up big again for the families at El Nido. The SDWC are sponsors of Unit #10, but this time they've gone above and beyond to help all of the children at El Nido. The SDWC President, Judy Mantle, and SDWC El Nido Representative Diane Hazard stopped by El Nido to drop off $800+ worth of school supplies. There are more than 20 children living at El Nido. At El Nido, these children benefit from the volunteer led Reading Club, the Art Class, the Computer Lab, and the ImmunoMind Program led by students from UCSD. In additional to this, the children and families are supported by fantastic congregations and nonprofits like the San Diego Woman's Club. Thank you SDWC!!!
