Victory Outreach of San Ysidro Blessed El Nido Families, Again!

"Felt loved and appreciated."

For the second year, Victory Outreach San Ysidro, blessed the families of El Nido at their Code Red event.  Code Red events are committed to serving and uplifting those who have been trafficked, exploited, and/or abused. Elizabeth Munoz and her team of women at Victory Outreach organized a multifaceted event with activities for the women and children of El Nido.

"It was fun, the kids enjoyed the activities."

Victory Outreach San Ysidro hosted a dinner for the El Nido families and set up specialized areas with a variety of services and activities.  There was a clothing boutique area for women to choose new outfits, a self-care area with hygiene items, haircuts and manicures, an arts and crafts area for children, and a prayer corner for those who wanted to recieve a prayer. Additionally the program included toy giveaways for children and raffles with great prizes. Pictures of the event and activities are below.

"Felt safe and the people were really nice"

Flora Macias, El Nido's Computer Lab Technician, did a great job as El Nido's representative at the January 6th event. Interfaith Shelter Network is beyond grateful for Victory Outreach's support!
